I teach HATHA YOGA, this gentle form of YOGA is suitable for all ages and abilities and my aim is to introduce you to the joys of movement through relaxed fun classes,  the beginners class will get you moving and return flexibility to your joints through controlled calm movements with stretching & balanced poses at the core. HATHA yoga is the basic entry level for you to start to learn YOGA from there you can move on to the advanced classes or even try one of the many different YOGA styles on offer. The important thing is to try, once you have discovered the health benefits and regained flexibility in your joints you will (probably) be a life long advocate.

 

Yogalates is a fusion of Yoga and Pilates, it sculpts the body incorporating deep breathing with Yoga and some pilates working on your core muscles for strength and stability, aiding weight loss .

Hatha Yoga

HATHA YOGA is probably the best known of all the YOGA styles, You may have heard of Downward Dog, Salute to the Sun and The Warrior, to name but a few, these are all part of the HATHA teachings and for me the purest of YOGA styles. All these poses, postures, stretches and balances can easily be adapted for beginners and extended for the more advanced pupils. The YOGA Breath is an intregal part of learning YOGA and when done properly you will feel both revitalised and relaxed, when was the last time you paid any attention to your breathing? during YOGA your concentration will be centred on deep breathing techniques.
